dedicated commodity hedge funds globally.

Position Overview:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations for our offices in Mumbai, Mauritius, UAE, US and UK. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and supporting audit activities. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a commitment to maintaining high ethical standards. Key Responsibilities:

▪ Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including

balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

▪ General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts,

ensuring the accuracy of all financial data.

▪ Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage and process accounts payable and

receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

▪ Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts,

providing variance analysis and insights.

▪ Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations,

including the preparation and submission of tax returns.

▪ Audit Preparation: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary

documentation and financial reports.

▪ Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and

opportunities for cost savings or efficiency improvements.

▪ Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the

efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.

Job Description

▪ Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure

compliance with applicable laws and standards.

Qualifications:

▪ Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance and accounting.

▪ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

▪ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft

Office Suite, particularly Excel.

▪ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
