Yext is searching for a Billing Analyst to join our growing India Operations Center as part of the global Finance Team. The Billing Team handles a wide range of responsibilities, including daily invoice processing and collaboration with account managers and customers to address any billing inquiries. This position shares the responsibility for handling day-to-day billing operations for new and existing products, managing high-volume client inquiries and transactional processing, and supporting billing project initiatives. Reports to the Manager, Billing Operations based in IOC.
What You'll Do
Manage a high-volume of inbound Billing Operations requests and drive tickets to completion.
Execute daily invoicing for standard contracts and amendments, ensuring accuracy across multi-currency and regional formatting requirements.
Process credit memos, refunds, chargebacks, account upgrades, and terminations in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain operational knowledge of billing systems to ensure client configurations for billing and fulfillment are accurate.
Partner with the Collections team to research and resolve invoice disputes that are delaying payment.
Ensure all billing activities and record-keeping via tickets adhere to internal audit controls and SOX compliance standards.
Oversee sales tax and VAT compliance, including the end-to-end management of exemption certificates and regular audits of customer invoices to ensure tax accuracy.
Participate in regular data clean-up projects to ensure all billing records and account data are kept accurate and up to date.
Assist the Senior Billing Analyst and Revenue department with monthly reconciliation efforts, including tracking invoice data and identifying irregularities for review.
Work within cross-functional teams to resolve billing errors and provide feedback to internal teams on reconciliation progress.
What You Have
BA/BS Degree or similar college-level education.
1-3 years of work experience in Billings and Collections or other accounting-related fields.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume transactional tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.
