Role Overview
The Campaign Operations Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end execution and optimization of advertiser campaigns on the Paytm Ads platform. This role sits at the intersection of ad operations, performance optimization, and client delivery, ensuring campaigns run flawlessly, meet KPIs, and drive measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Setup & Execution
● Set up and launch managed service ad campaigns across Paytm inventory (Search Ads, Display, Native, Post-Transaction placements, Video where applicable).
● Configure targeting, budgets, bidding, creatives, and flighting based on client briefs.
● Ensure accurate tagging, tracking, and attribution setup.
Campaign Monitoring & Optimization
● Monitor live campaigns for delivery, pacing, CTR, CVR, ROAS, and CPA.
● Perform ongoing optimizations on bids, targeting, creatives, and budgets to maximize performance.
● Identify and resolve delivery issues (under-delivery, drop in CTR, tracking gaps).
Reporting & Insights
● Prepare daily, weekly, and post-campaign reports for advertisers and internal stakeholders.
● Analyze performance trends and convert data into actionable insights and recommendations.
● Support QBRs and performance reviews with clear narratives and data storytelling.
Client & Internal Collaboration
● Act as the operations SPOC for sales, account management, and product teams.
● Work closely with Sales to understand client objectives and translate them into executable media plans.
● Coordinate with creative, tech, and product teams to resolve issues and improve campaign outcomes.
Platform & Process Excellence
● Maintain high operational accuracy with zero-defect campaign launches. Follow standard operating procedures while contributing to process improvements and automation.
● Provide feedback on advertiser needs to help evolve Paytm Ads products and tools.
Key Metrics You’ll Own
● Campaign delivery & pacing accuracy
● CTR, CVR, CPA / ROAS improvement
● Client satisfaction & SLA adherence
● Error-free campaign launches Required Qualifications
● 1–4 years of experience in Ad Operations / Campaign Management / Performance Marketing.
● Hands-on experience with managed service campaigns on ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads, Fintech Ad Platforms) and MMPs (Appsflyer, Adjust etc)
● Strong understanding of digital advertising metrics and optimization levers.
● Advanced working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.
● High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
