The Opportunity

We are seeking a Gainsight Engineer to lead the technical development and optimization of our Customer Success Platform. This role requires deep hands-on experience in Gainsight configuration, data integration, and workflow automation across the customer lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings both platform expertise and a data-first mindset to drive proactive retention, onboarding, adoption, and renewal strategies.

You’ll partner with Customer Success, Revenue Ops, and Salesforce teams to deliver insights, campaigns, and alerts that power our CS motion. Experience with SQL, system integrations, and AI-based engagement scoring is highly valued.

What you do..

1. Gainsight Configuration & Development

· Own configuration of Gainsight features: Rules Engine, Journey Orchestrator, CTAs, Scorecards, Programs, and Playbooks.

· Design and implement customer lifecycle programs to automate onboarding, health scoring, renewal risk, and expansion signals.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to turn customer insights into operational cadences, campaigns, and escalations.

· Build business-centric reports and dashboards using Reporting 2.0 and CX Center.

2. Data Integration & Orchestration

· Build and maintain end-to-end integrations between Gainsight and platforms such as Salesforce, and product telemetry systems.

· Translate customer data into actionable playbooks using Data Designer, Rules Engine, and Bionic Rules.

· Understand and document customer journey workflows and their associated data flows.

3. AI & Automation Enablement

· Implement and maintain sentiment analysis, churn prediction, and AI-based prioritization within Gainsight or external AI services.

· Work with teams to embed AI-generated insights into CTAs, dashboards, and health models.
