Merakie is a Mumbai-based, boutique experiential marketing agency that believes in the

power of storytelling through physical experiences. We don't just "do events"; we create

high-impact brand environments—ranging from large-scale corporate activations and BTL

campaigns to intricate, design-heavy brand launches. We are a fast-growing team where

"good enough" isn't the standard, and we’re looking for a leader to build the engine that

powers our execution.

The Role

This isn’t a “show up and check a list” role. We need an architect of execution.

While our Client Servicing team manages the "What" and the "Why" for the client, you will

own the "How." You will be responsible for building, structuring, and scaling the entire event

operations lifecycle, ensuring that what our designers put on paper is executed flawlessly on

the ground—every single time.

What you’ll own:

● Process Engineering: You will design and document the end-to-end execution

lifecycle. From the moment a project is greenlit to the final teardown and vendor

settlement, you define the workflow.

● Team Building & Leadership: You’ll hire, train, and mentor a high-performing

operations and execution team. You are responsible for their growth and their ability

to handle high-pressure environments.

● Multi-Project Logistics: Merakie moves fast. You’ll oversee the logistics for multiple

simultaneous events, ensuring furniture, sets, tech, and manpower are exactly where

they need to be.

● Vendor Ecosystem: Building and managing a robust, reliable network of vendors

and fabricators across Mumbai (and beyond). You’ll handle negotiations and quality

control to ensure we get the best without compromising the budget.

● On-Site Command: You are the final word on-ground. You’ll coordinate between

designs, internal teams, and third-party vendors to ensure the setup matches the

vision and the event runs without a hitch.

You’re a good fit if:

● You have 8–12 years of experience in event operations or production (ideally within

an experiential or BTL agency).

● You are a master of logistics. You can look at a 3D design and immediately know

the structural challenges, transport requirements, and setup time needed.

● You thrive in "The Chaos." You stay calm when a vendor is late or a setup isn't

looking right, and you find a strategic solution rather than just a quick fix.

● You are a builder, not just a manager. You enjoy setting up systems from scratch

and refining them as the company scales.

● You understand the Mumbai landscape. You know the venues, the local

regulations, and the best fabricators in the city.

Location: Mumbai (On-site/Field-based)

Role: Full-time | Head of Operations

Reporting to: Founder & HR Generalist (for team/process alignment)
