Anaplan Localization Specialist
Japanese customers prefer to have documentation in their native language. We are looking to hire a Localization Program Manager to work alongside a Senior Localization Program Manager based in Tokyo. They will help to managing the localization for product strings, technical documentation (Anapedia), Academy (training), and Product Marketing material. The demand for localization is continuing to grow as the number of applications increase.
Responsibilities
The Localization Specialist will:
Manage the localization of materials such as presentations, PDFs, videos, required by Customer Success, Finance, Business Partners, Solution Consulting, and other areas.
Liaise with Lionbridge for some localization tasks.
Localize some materials themselves depending on the size and type of the task.
Manage the localization of materials for special events in Japan, such as the Anaplan Connect Tokyo event.
Work with Finance to ensure there is budget to cover costs of external localization.
Required skills
Native or near-native proficiency in both Japanese and English. This includes exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
A deep understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to navigate different cultural context.
The ability to accurately translate and interpret various types of content, from marketing materials to technical documents.
A strong background in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
Be flexible and independent, and eager to lean new tools/systems and methods.
Desired skills
Some experience with translation management system such as Phrase or Trados.
