ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative with an entrepreneurial and building spirit to join our founding Sales Development team! The Asia-Pacific region has been one of the most important markets for us. As an early member of the team, you'll be instrumental in helping define our sales and customer success motion, meaningfully shape our future product, and drive business revenue, all while having a blast doing it!
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE
- Build a world-class outbound sales motion into the Enterprise
- Use data and market signals to prioritise and personalise your outreach
- Reach out to prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn to educate them on our product/service
- Innovate with new channels to engage, delight, and reach prospects
- Hold meetings with prospective customers to understand their business challenges and goals
- Help build playbooks and define our sales motion
- Hold ownership over pipeline generation tactics and strategic approaches
- Learn about our product inside and out and be able to give demos customised to the needs of different personas
- Qualify those prospects to determine whether or not they’re a good fit for Notion
- Take thorough notes and understand buying signals
- Collaborate and influence on performance initiatives, product launches and service innovation when working with cross-functional partners
- Partner closely with Account Executives to help them achieve revenue targets
- Put the customer first and help Notion win
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING
- You have 1 years+ experience in sales or sales development in SaaS tech or a high growth environment
- Experience making cold calls to decision makers
- A track record of high achievement in current and previous roles, hitting or exceeding quotas
- Engaging and compelling customer skills - high cognitive empathy and ability to craft stories tailored to the customer
- You LOVE talking to customers; Always interested in digging deeper and learning more about their needs
- You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results
