About the role
Job Summary
This role is for a GBS Specialist responsible for managing the activities pertaining to R2R Operations handled by outsourced partner ensuring accurate book closure, compliances and KPI / SLA achievements.
Roles & Responsibilities
Timely and accurate month end and quarter end books closure activities for all the India and Global entities
Reviewing all the creditor’s balances (both payable and not payable) and ensure hygiene of accounts.
Monitoring the BRS and ensuring there are no bank outgoings without proper accounting. All collections are accounted timely
Tracking the GRIR ageing and ensuring there are no open GRIR beyond 180 days
Tracking all the open advances in vendor accounts and ensuring there are no aged advances beyond 90 days
Ensuring that the MIS and schedules are circulated to the leadership as per the agreed timelines.
Engaging with auditors to resolve queries and ensure smooth audit closure, while maintaining compliance with FSCP and internal checklists.
Maintaining comprehensive process documentation, implementing feedback from the Controllers Forum and proactively identifying accounting risks with suggested controls.
Educational qualification: CA / CWA or equivalent is mandatory. Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from tier 1 institute is preferred.

About the Department
Finance
The Finance function at Dr. Reddy's goes beyond the traditional roles of monitoring costs, supervising accounting and creating reports. Deep into its digitalization transformation journey, the function works with all departments in the organization as a strategic partner and plays a major role in supporting management in its decision making.
The function is distributed globally and has business partnering teams allied to different business units as Controller and Planners. And, secondly distributed as multiple Centre of Excellence housed in Corporate office, such as treasury, Risk & Assurance, Taxation, Corporate Analytics, Investor Relations, GFRT and GBS.
