Role

We are looking for a Staff Software Development Engineer to join our Engineering department. This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore, reporting to the Sr. Director, Software Engineering.

As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for managing development and infrastructure demands. Additional responsibilities for this role include deploying systems and supporting peer developers.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

Provisioning Zscaler services on public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Kubernetes, helm and terraform

Ensuring security compliance of service deployment

Working with the team to control costs and optimize cloud utilization

Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines

Advocating and guiding Software Engineers in adopting DevOps philosophy
