Role

We are looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our ZDX Engineering team. This role is based in Bangalore, reporting to the Senior Engg. Manager - Data + AI.

You will be responsible for designing and developing our ZDX data platform bringing an AI-first approach to development that analyzes massive volumes of network data to detect anomalies, threats and patterns in near real time. You’ll solve complex real-world business problems by partnering closely with data architects and product teams to deliver impactful automation and intelligence. You will also help design and build Agentic AI systems—developing and orchestrating specialized autonomous agents.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

Build and maintain large-scale distributed systems to support the data pipeline including data collection, feature engineering, servicing data from BigData sources, which includes Agentic AI components (agent workflows, orchestration, tool integrations, observability and real-time agent serving)

Solve complex real-world business problems like threat detection and business intelligence by working closely with stakeholders including data architects, product management, customer success and product engineering teams — building multi-agent solutions that automate analysis and decisioning (e.g., recommendation, triage, and segmentation/policy workflows)

Work closely with cross functional teams, assess task requirements and scheduling, participate in the development, debug, and support rollout/monitoring plans for agent-based systems
